New batch of designs for single seat space fighters.  Been in a yamato mood lately, so these new ships will harken back to the days of eating cereal in front of the TV, watching Starblazers and Robotech.  It wouldn't bee until after HIghschool that I would find the original Anime those dubbed over shows were derived from.   MKI Attack FighterMKII Interceptor

Anyone who grew up in the 70's/80's will remember these.  The Terran Trading Authority was a series of books that covered the starships created and used by the three world conflict "The Proxima War". I've built my own swing scale fleet with a series of the ships inspired by those books in 1270 scale, complete with unique decal sets for my own use. I love the organic look to the ships and the sense of color and majesty these artist brought into their work. Starting to refine some of the original designs, buy building small sections of the ship one piece at a time.  This process certainly is akin to custom building each set of parts rather than the random sculpting and mix and matching of pieces on previous sketches.
